I picked this book up on a bargain bin table because thought there was potential in the book And mystery plot wise there was But on the whole I was disappointed with the book I was hoping the teddy bears would be involved in the book, rather than just trying not to be the main plot I was also disappointed by the overload of puns in the book the I read, the I realized the puns were no doubt decided on first and the story was written to fit the puns.I would say the book was worth what I paid fo [...]

I heard that this was the final book in the Teddy Bear Collector series and I m so sad Most things were resolved but I was really interested in the Teddy Bear Emporium Museum and now I guess I will just have to use my imagination.I find it interesting that Brad Lyon went from a San Francisco cop to a teddy bear creator while his wife, Ashleigh, went from a teddy bear creator to a Sheriff s deputy Kind of ironic I really liked the bad puns which where nonstop but they did get a chuckle from me I [...]

First off I am sad to learn that this is the last Bear Collector s Mystery book because John J Lamb does a great job of these books While I enjoyed all the books, I felt he was off in the last book he wrote This book brought me back to why I love his writing and series to begin with It s really a nice series of books and a good quick mystery that I readily recommend to bear lovers and mystery lovers alike Even if you aren t into mysteries I say give it a try.

Ashleigh and Brad get involved when one of their neighbors is found dead Was it a hunting accident or murder There was very little teddy bear connection in this book, but I still absolutely loved it The characters and humor are outstanding.Read my full review at Carstairs Considers.

A thoroughly delightful series Well thought out with dialog that is believable A mystery that keeps you guessing until the end Highly recommend all five books in this series.

Saw this book at a thrift shop and bought it simply because of the cover When I started reading, I was so surprised to see the book takes place in my neck of the woods the mountains of Virginia The book kept my attention the whole way through When I thought I knew the murderer, the author would change things around and leave me feeling stumped, only to turn things around again and have the killer be the person I suspected in the beginning. My only complaint is that the book gets sidetracked with [...]

I love a good mystery I also love the terrible puns that Brad is always stating So it s with a heavy heart that I must say good bye to the Teddy Bear Mysteries as I finish this book as it s the last in the series This time there is a land grab in process and no one actually knows about it But as usual a murder occurs with quite a number of suspects Who did it Who burned down the old Victorian house and will Brad and Ashleigh start their own teddy bear museum All questions will be answered as you [...]

If you add a retired police detective who makes teddy bears as a hobby, a wife who is a part time deputy sheriff, and people that seem to get themselves done in you end up with a light mystery that is the 5th in a series that I ve really enjoyed.John J Lamb was a San Francisco PD homicide detective who in real life collects teddies with his wife He incorporates real life teddy bear artists and bears in his stories as well as teddy bear shows around the country.

I adore this series Brad and Ash and all the supporting characters are real people and the crimes are well thought out and the world of Teddy Bear Artisans is endlessly fascinating I highly recommend this series to everyone and I highly recommend to Mr Lamb that he not wait so long to put out another in this series

Retired homicide detective Brad Lyons and his deputry sheriff wife Ashleigh investigate the circumstances of a man found dead in his yard with an arrow in his chest This is probably the most complext of John Lamb s bear collector mysteries and, as with every book in the series, it is absorbing from beginning to end, and filled with the cast of characters his devoted readers have come to love.

Another in the series about the police detective turned teddy bear artist and his lovely wife the teddy bear artist turned deputy I like the series, nothing serious here, but lots of craft stuff in the teddy bear making line and always a body around.

I really love this series and am sorry to have it end Oh well, there is always next year to look forward to rereading them again.

A nice cosy mystery, part of a teddy bear mystery series I wish there had been a bit about the bears, but overall it was a fast, pleasant read.
