I quite enjoyed this book, which is probably a first for me when it comes to a Marvel book with Infinity in the title, especially considering this is also a Secret Wars tie in shudderThe reason I ve only given it three stars is because it suffers a bit for not really knowing what it wants to be I said in one of my progress updates that this would be a great Saturday morning cartoon do they still have those and there s a fair amount of Power Rangers type stuff it s about the power of teamwork, ea [...]

So far this has been my least favorite of the Secret Wars Crossovers I m a big fan of Thanos, and even Adam Warlock shows up, but this one still felt a little flat The Guardians of the Galaxy are in this one as well.So this Battleworld has been overrun by alien bugs right out of starship troopers, and we follow a family of Novas as they attempt to survive Then Drax shows up, and there s a search for the Infinity Gems in order to complete in the Infinity Gauntlet The plot seemed forced to me The [...]

A decent cold open good to see among the heap of Secret Wars tie ins that don t work hard enough to grab my attention Which shouldn t have been a surprise script by Gerry Duggan, though he Dustin Weaver share a story credit.Their concept of the family vs the bugs should ve been entirely pedestrian and Ho hum, but instead I was caught up in how the hell are any of them going to survive Like I know how comics usually treat that story, but there was no way the usual outcomes applied here And they d [...]

Another failed attempt by Thanos to collect the Infinity Stones Sigh, no surprise there But, according to the main Secret Wars arc, Strange had the only set of Infinity Stones which he later bequeath to the Black Panther Regardless, the highlight of this book wasn t Thanos, or the Infinity Stones, or even Drax who makes a cameo , it was the family of Novas that was stuck in this Battleworld.

Very fun little quest for the infinity gauntlet involving a lot of awesome cosmic characters The weird thing is, considering this is battleworld, I have no idea which universe these characters belong to as well as if they have any relation to their counterparts in the main Secret Wars story This whole battleworld thing gets and confusing as I keep reading If you ignore that though, super enjoyable, almost didn t feel like a typical Marvel comic If you re into the cosmic lore, and apocalyptic s [...]

This is one of the very best offerings from that whole muddled mess that was Secret Wars, Battle Zones, War Zones, and Last Days.Amazing illustration and excellent writing unite

Collects Infinity Gauntlet 2015 issues 1 5This story is set during the events of Secret Wars, however it doesn t tie into Secret Wars in such a way that makes it required reading for that series With that being said, this story could easily exist as a What If story outside of the Battleworld of the 2015 Secret Wars event I liked this book, but I didn t love it The tie ins I read, the less I understand if there are any established rules to what the characters know about God Doom in each domain O [...]

I ve read about a dozen Secret Wars tie in, even given the fact that they do not really add tot the main storyline I ve enjoyed reading them because the give a view about the different domains in God Doom s Battleworld I mainly bought this comic because I ve always likes stories about the Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos involved Here we get a completely different storyline from the epic science fiction stories We get a family in the New Xandar domain getting involved in the Nova Corps and the Infin [...]

2.5 Stars. This title was ruined by my assumptions I was expecting something akin to the original Infinity Gauntlet story line, but instead was about a family, who all become part of the Nova Corps, and their fight against Thanos collecting of the Infinity Stones While the story was fine, my opinion of it was skewed, and caused me not to enjoy it as much. There was a cool event at the end I won t spoil it but I was very underwhelmed by this title.Maybe recommend.

Secret Wars standalone about a family in a post apocolyptic wasteland filled with giant bugs, trying to stay alive, who find themselves involved with Thanos after finding a gemstone I would love to see stories about Anwen and family Solid adventure story with some time twistiness Pretty enjoyable.

  11. James Elkins

For me this has been one of the best Warzones mini series Infinity Gauntlet Warzones would be an excellent Nova Guardians of the Galaxy alternate reality mini series period No mention of God Doom or the Thors Loved Dustin Weaver s art Would love to see these characters again and read about them.

  12. Daniel Butcher

Loved the family aspects of the storybut in the end it s a big action fighty fight piece. And I can t get past the fact that to me in the rules of Battleworld this story should not exist This is interesting version of cosmic heroesbut all the cosmic heroes should be exiled to Knowhere, so there should be not Titans or Novasjust saying.

3.5 5One of my favorite Secret Wars tie ins It has a lot of heart and is a family story first and foremost All the weird cosmic space stuff with the Infinity Stones is just a plus. The only real detractor was that the ending felt a little rushed in the last two issues My main beef being that there seemed to be panels missing during key events.

  14. Jonathan

This had almost nothing to do with the original story, which I suppose is fine There s not much about how the world got the way it is or any mention of Doom, but I suppose that s ok as well The story here is about being a family So, Thanos fights a family or Novas for the stones.

  15. Don

This was the best of all the Secret Wars Battleworld miniseries Great plot line and characters The Infinity Gauntlet stories can go a million ways, they re always great Love the sci fi aspect to them

  16. David

I had to keep telling myself, Yes, you are reading a Marvel comic book And that, I suppose, is both this book s best quality, and it s worst The Infinity Gauntlet part is Thanos after the stones as it s been told a million times without an iota of variation.

  17. Ed

All told it s a solid Cosmic Marvel book that loosely relates to Secret Wars But it finishes much weaker than it starts I do love Zigzag the Nova dog and I hope he shows up again.

  18. Marcela

Started strong, then sort of just unraveled into the usual Thanos mess I would have loved to see about this family, though, and hope I eventually will.

  19. Dimitris

Seriously, one of the most fresh, unique, and strangely good stories out of the Secret Wars tie ins.Awesome story, solid artwork.Highly recommended

  20. Hector Ibarraran

All I m going to say about this one is that the last issue is awesome, and that it is a good, worthwhile read.
