This book was rescued from a 1 star rating, only on the fact that my children seemed to enjoy the pictures in it Maybe we made a mistake by viewing this on Kindle instead of having the actual book as I read it is actually a pop up book however, the rhyming in it was terrible I kept wondering if this story originated in a language other than English, it was that messed up I kept trying to make it flow, but some lines just could not be saved Thankfully, we got this book for free or I would have wa [...]

This is the complete review as it appears at my blog dedicated to reading, writing no rithmatic , movies, TV Blog reviews often contain links which are not reproduced here, nor will updates or modifications to the blog review be replicated here Graphic and children s reviews on the blog typically feature two or three images from the book s interior, which are not reproduced here.Note that I don t really do stars To me a book is either worth reading or it isn t I can t rate it three fifths worth [...]

Reviewed by Michelle Stanley for Readers FavoriteZoo Day is a pop up book for children by Tina Marie Kaht The kids are excited to go to the zoo with their mother They see Monkey wrap his tail around a limb so he can swing faster Orangutan does not have a tail, but that does not stop him from climbing trees Giraffe s long neck allows him to chomp on leaves high in the trees Kangaroo likes to jump and kick a lot, even when she carries Joey in her pouch Lion s thick mane not only protects his neck, [...]

Story about a family s trip to the zoo The illustrations are done in bright colors and represent diverse children Targeted for children ages two through eight, but the lower end of that age range might have some difficulty understanding the text The story is written in rhyme, but in many cases the rhymes don t flow, which prevents the book from being a good read aloud I read the kindle version on an HD Fire, and some pages were devoid of illustration.Children who love animals will enjoy looking [...]

Family and friends spend the day at the zoo They see a variety of different animals and learn about them They see a monkey, orangutan, giraffe, kangaroo, bat, zebra, lion, tiger, elephant, king cobra, camel, panda bear, beaver, peacock, and flamingo For each animal they learn something new.Make groups of children and have them compare and contrast two different animals Then make a poster to show what they learned to the whole class.Kaht, T 2014 Zoo Day Digital Services.

I didn t know that flamingos rested when they stand on one leg There s one thing that we didn t learn in the book Camels can run really fast, and they can get hungry without really getting hungry All the other parts I just know, but at least I didn t know that tigers actually love the water Other people would really like this book because they would feel like they were really going to the zoo Joshua

This story is the next best thing It s a fun trip wrapped up in the disguise of a book and then illustrated with awesome animal pictures. The story revolves around the animals during a family visit to the zoo and is written in a fun rhyming style That along with the great illustrations should keep your little ones and you entertained through the entire read. You may even learn a little about the animals and their lingo.

This rhyming picture book is a colorful introduction to animals I bet your child will ask you to read this book over and over again The cadence is fun and the pictures will have your children turning the pages forward to see the next and backward to see the last one again Cute book for ages 3 to 8.

Zoo DayBrilliantly colorful children s book about their day at the zoo They see some common animals and some not so common My favorite was the flamingo as it took up many pages of information. All the animals had their own pages where it states what they do and sometimes with a strange part of their body Very good learning tool.Other books by the author are highlighted at the end.

Very nice children s bookThis book reminds me of Dr Suess books, in that the whole books is told in rhymes Very nice illustrations on every page, and interesting facts about all of the animals to teach children Very nice.
