I received an e copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review Review is also posted on Let s Say It s A Blog.I started this book with an expectation of some improvements from book 1 I must say I was glad to find some yet other parts still remained the same which was pretty unfortunate I ll get into it in a bit.The sequel of Guardian of the Gauntlet picked up four years later after Princess Camari had succeeded in taking a claim of the stolen gauntlet back The gauntlet later [...]

The continued adventures of Princess Camari and Prince Isryk do not disappoint they are as imaginative and highly original as the first book in the series At the end of this second book I found myself hoping that there would be further adventures in future, which is the mark of a good series This book, even so than the first one, really does require a good edit, as there are several errors, starting from the very first page The cover lets the side down a bit The image is grainy and not up to th [...]

This book does a good job of following on from the first in the series, it gave just enough information to let you know what had happened in the first book without going into too much detail and giving too much away I didn t like this one quite as much as the first one, perhaps because I felt like everything was a little too easily solved, in the first book Princess Camari had to work hard to get the Gauntlet to work, or to overcome obstacles another way and this time around it felt like the Gau [...]

Guardian of the Gauntlet Book I and Book II are really entertaining and fun fantasy adventure stories for young readers These books are full of princesses princes magic monsters etc Basically, it has everything I would have wanted to read during my childhood The writing is descriptive and keeps the story flowing well It is not too advanced where younger readers would struggle, nor is it to easy that older readers grow bored.I wholeheartedly recommend these books to young readers parents of young [...]

Lenita Sheridan s second book in the Guardian of the Gauntlet series is an easy read, reminding me of a longer version of tales in East of the Sun and West of the Moon The adventure story moves quickly, focusing mainly on two characters a prince and princess and their journey to help gnomes It has a matter of fact tone, where characters are transformed into and out of other creatures, and journeys happen quickly Magic is used, isn t dwelled on, and just accepted without explanation For a novella [...]

The follow up in the Guardian of the Gauntlet series, a book of short but original fairy tales, sees a Prince and a Princess in the quest to help gnomes Four years have passed since the end of the previous book The story has all the ingredients children search for in this genre of story monsters, a wizard, imaginary creatures Another easy to read story for young readers, with a passion for a good old fashioned fairy tale.

Young readers will enjoy this fairy tale story of magic and other world kingdoms It s a story about a girl s journey through life using her magic gauntlet, but mostly her compassion to help others Along the way she meets a variety of otherworldly creatures and has to use her courage and intelligence to navigate through treacherous territory She s reminded on her journey to keep believing in herself, which we can all forget from time to time. This is a light and fun read

I was eager to read this book due to how much I liked the first book While it is well written, it took a while to get to the action and adventure that I loved so much in the first book Once the adventure really started though, I was hooked The characters are very lovable and the setting is well described The ending was not predictable which I liked because it kept it open to another book in the future I love the clean language and concepts of this book I don t have to think twice about sharing i [...]
