Alex and Jude's short story wins
Alex and Jude are pleased to announce that inspired by the short story workshop we put on at Waterstones in May 2009 with Alison Clink, we both went on to win prizes in the 2009 Frome Short Story competition -judges were Charles Nevin and Sophie King.
Jude won a local prize and Alex won the overall first prize !! - she's pictured here with Sophie King the main prize judge.
Jude was a runner up in the local section . Jude also won a Highly Commended in the local prize section of the Frome Short Story Competition
Alex was shortlisted for the prestigious Watermill Posara Short Story Competition. She didn't win the £1000 prize...but never mind, there's always next time and Jude won a Highly Commended again in the local prize section of the Frome Short Story Competition.
